This guide walks you through connecting Tassel to Blackbaud Enrollment Management so we can:
- Push inquiries directly into Blackbaud (Part 1)
- Pull enrollment data for ROI reporting and Healthy Enrollment Data Tracker matching (Part 2)
Part 1: Connect the Tassel Inquiries App to Blackbaud #
This connection allows Tassel to automatically push inquiries into Blackbaud Enrollment Management.
Step 1: Open the Blackbaud Marketplace #
- Log in to Blackbaud. This user must be an admin or have permission to manage marketplace applications.
- Navigate to the Blackbaud Marketplace.
- Visit the Manage page.
Step 2: Connect the Tassel Inquiries App #
- Select Connect app.
- Paste the following Application ID into the field:
3f3f83c3-2508-454c-b69c-f6a99112e3ac
- The application details will appear for confirmation. It should be the Tassel Inquiries application.
- Select Connect.
You may see a warning message during this process. This is normal and expected.
Once connected, the application will appear on your Manage page.
Step 3: Complete the Authentication Process #
After the app has been connected in Blackbaud, complete the authentication process by visiting: https://blackbaud-sky-api.tasselmarketing.com/auth/connect.html. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection. You will need to connect with the same user as in Step 1 above.
Notify your Tassel Enrollment Marketing Manager that the application has been connected to your instance of Blackbaud Enrollment Management.
Part 2: Grant Tassel Access for ROI & Enrollment Reporting #
This connection allows Tassel to securely pull enrollment and admissions data for:
- ROI reporting
- Enrollment attribution
- Matching against the Healthy Enrollment Data Tracker
Step 1: Create a Tassel User #
In Blackbaud, add the following user:
tech@tasselmarketing.com
Step 2: Assign Permissions #
The user must have access to:
- Enrollment Management
The account should have:
- Admissions Manager access level or higher
Higher permission levels are acceptable if needed by your internal policies.
Step 3: Confirm with Tassel #
Once the user is created and permissions are configured, notify your Tassel Enrollment Marketing Manager.
